SELF LAWS 1-7

VERSE SUMMARY IN PLAIN ENGLISH, then “as it is written” – following (Verse location)

  WOMEN MUST NOT WEAR ANYTHING THAT PERTAINS TO A MAN, as it is written, “The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man” (Deuteronomy 22:5)       MEN MUST NOT WEAR ANYTHING THAT PERTAINS TO A WOMAN, as it is written “neither shall a man put on a woman’s garment: for all that do so are abomination unto YHWH thy Elohim.” (Deuteronomy 22:5)     DO NOT WEAR LINEN & WOOL MIXED TOGETHER; as it is written, “Thou shalt not wear a garment of divers sorts, as of woollen and linen together.”  (Deuteronomy 22:11)       DO NOT TATTOO YOURSELF, as it is written, “Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am YHWH.” (Leviticus 19:28)

 DO NOT GET LINE-UPS, as it is written, “Ye shall not round the corners of your heads, neither shalt thou mar the corners of thy beard.” (Leviticus 19:27)           42 DO NOT MAKE ANY CUTS IN YOUR FLESH FOR THE DEAD, as it is written, “Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead.”  (Leviticus 19:28)         DO NOT EAT ANY DISGUSTING THING, as it is written, “Thou shalt not eat any abominable thing.” – (Deuteronomy14:3) See Dietary Tab for more details of the Dietary Laws
