Why we choose to home school

  • Hands on education with your children
  • Build good relationship with your children
  • Holiday is a focus for the public school system & its part of the curriculum, which is against the commandments
  • Peer pressure & learning from other children who weren’t raised from following Yah
  • Keeping them safe – Abused by going to school & being in school
  • Children discourage
  • Teachers can’t focus on each children due to the fact that there too many children in the classroom.  Struggling children suffer in the process.  Children graduate high school & can’t even read & enter into college. I want to help my struggling child.
  • Passing children who don’t deserve to be passed.
  • Gay education is the new the thing.  Students are open & encouraged to be gay.  Students who object to gay students are punished.

  • Don’t have to leave the house. You can do home school in your pajamas.

How we got started

  • Check with your local school system & let them know your home schooling your child.
  • Reading about home school
  • Talk to your spouse about home school
  • Set up a room for home school
  • Set up your curriculum, Buy books, & Supplies
  • Practice homeschooling gradually with your children so they get used to it.
  • Make sure you are educated for each subject or topic to teach your children properly.  Find resources to help you in certain area were you lack knowledge, such as … following teachers guides, subscribe to educational websites to add to your curriculum.
  • Make home school fun so they don’t feel left out or that something is missing.
  • Build days off around holy day calender to memorialize Yah’s feast days.
  • Find support groups & take field trips together

What we learned while homeschooling our chidren

  • To be more patient & flexible with my children
  • Children differently & need hands on education for certain subjects depending on the child.
  • To be more organized each lesson; Lesson, practice activities, quizzes & tests.
  • Children learn information like a sponge & can progress & learn more quickly than we think.
  • More disciplined with interaction with my children

Struggles of home school

  • Less attention to home being a full time teacher.
  • Hard to juggle home school, being a mom & working or running a business.
  • Hard to teach different grade levels when you have multiple children. It becomes a challenge.
  • Have to have money to buy books & supplies & to join certain education websites.
  • If your pregnant during homeschooling & you have many appointment which take away from school.
  • Finding someone to watch your children if you have an appointment may be difficult if everyone is working.
  • Children interact less with other children & opportunity for friends is more limited.

We must work on having a private school for our children

  • Your not alone in educating your children
  • Friendship with children same faith
  • Having job is more possible or running a business. Able provide your children with good education that obeys Yah without having to lose your income.
