- Names of people from particular countries
- Particular people & pets
- …months, days of the week,special Days, holy days & holiday
- …title of a book, titles of T.V. programs, movies, poems – except for small words like: and, of in, the. Always capitalize the first & last words. (Example: Dungeons and Dragons, The Princess and the Frog)
- …the first word of a direct quotation: (Example:”Can you play?” asked Jenny.)
- …the first word in the closing of a letter: (Example: Your friend, Sue)
- …the first word of a greeting: (Dear Ned,)
