  3. …Title of a name
  4. …abbreviations & initial in a name
  5. …proper nouns such as…
    • Cities, states, countries
    • Lakes, rivers, oceans
    • Names of people from particular countries
    • Particular people & pets
  6. …months, days of the week,special Days, holy days & holiday
  7. …title of a book, titles of T.V. programs, movies, poems – except for small words like: and, of in, the.  Always capitalize the first & last words.   (Example: Dungeons and Dragons, The Princess and the Frog)
  8. …the first word of a direct quotation: (Example:”Can you play?” asked Jenny.)
  9. …the first word in the closing of a letter: (Example: Your friend, Sue)
  10. …the first word of a greeting: (Dear Ned,)
