Plural Noun
-names more than one person, place or thing.
CHANGING PLURAL NOUNS:
- * Usually plural nouns have an “S” ending.

EXCEPT WHEN...
- –a singular noun ends in SH, SH, CH or X, add es to make the plural form.
Examples:
Box=Boxes
Brush=Brushes
Dish=Dishes
Peach=Peaches
- irregular nouns that don’t change when they are plural. You need to memorize them

Usually plural nouns have an “S” ending, except for the words that end in s, x, ch, sh or y

a singular noun ends in SH, SH, CH or X, add es to make the plural form.

Plural Nouns with “ies” ending
A noun ending in –y preceded by a consonant makes the plural with -ies.
