Rape – Torah Law Studies, Bible, Scriptures
*** NOTE***
IN ORDER FOR A CASE TO BE CONSIDERED RAPE THERE MUST BE AN INDICATION OF “FORCE” ACCORDING TO THE LAW OF YHWH
RAPE OF AN ENGAGED WOMAN
25 But if a man find a betrothed damsel in the field, and the man force her, and lie with her: then the man only that lay with her shall die.26 But unto the damsel thou shalt do nothing; there is in the damsel no sin worthy of death: for as when a man riseth against his neighbour, and slayeth him, even so is this matter:
27 For he found her in the field, and the betrothed damsel cried, and there was none to save her.
FORCE =
- FOUND HER – unwilling meeting
- WOMAN CRIES
- NONE TO SAVE HER
“For he found her in the field, and the betrothed damsel cried, and there was none to save her.”
A woman must scream for help if she is going to be raped. If she can’t scream, she must tell someone once she has escaped. Otherwise, it appears as if she was in one consent with the man that lay with her. If the scriptures doesn’t indicate that the woman is being forced because she does not scream, than it is not rape.
THERE IS A COMMONLY MISTAKEN SCRIPTURES FOR RAPE…
MY NOTES:Deuteronomy 22:28-29 isn’t referring rape, because KEYWORDS of RAPE are MISSING, such as…
FORCE =
- FOUND HER – unwilling meeting
- WOMAN CRIES
- NONE TO SAVE HER
What kind of father would approve his daughter to marry her rapist?
2 MORE CASES NOT RAPE:
CASE OF THE MARRIED WOMAN & HER LOVER
KEYWORDS of RAPE are MiSSING, such as…
FORCE =
- FOUND HER – unwilling meeting
- WOMAN CRIES
- NONE TO SAVE HER
BETROTHE WOMAN & HER LOVER WHO IS NOT HER FIANCE
[24] Then ye shall bring them both out unto the gate of that city, and ye shall stone them with stones that they die; the damsel, because she cried not, being in the city; and the man, because he hath humbled his neighbour’s wife: so thou shalt put away evil from among you.
KEYWORDS of RAPE are MiSSING, such as…FORCE =

- NONE TO SAVE HER
“the damsel, because she cried not, being in the city; and the man, because he hath humbled his neighbour’s wife:”
- The Betrothe woman was not in an area alone, she had a chance to be saved if she was raped, but her lack of crying out proves she wasn’t raped.
- We must be very careful not to say a scripture or law is speaking about rape, if there are no indications of the woman crying out or in an area alone with none to help.
