Set-apart Clothing

Take care of yourself – Keep Your Body a Set-apart Temple by wearing Set-apart clothing. Yah has laws concerning what fabric you should or should not wear. Linen is considered a Holy fabric in the scriptures and should never be mixed. It is a good practice to not mix any fabric with another fabric. Yah is opposed to mixing in many places in the scriptures and he also dislikes it when it comes to your clothing.

WEAR FRINGES & BLUE RIBBON ON THE EXTREMITIES OF YOUR GARMENTS, as it is written, “And YHWH spake unto Moses, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, and bid them that they make them fringes in the borders of their garments throughout their generations, and that they put upon the *fringe of the borders a ribband of blue: And it shall be unto you for a fringe, that ye may look upon it, and remember all the commandments of YHWH, and do them; and that ye seek not after your own heart and your own eyes, after which ye use to go a whoring: That ye may remember, and do all my commandments, and be holy unto your Elohim.– Numbers 15:37-40

Read Your Labels when buying Clothes, make sure it’s 100% Fabric & Not mixed (natural is the best)

DO NOT WEAR A GARMENT MIXED WITH LINEN AND WOOL TOGETHER, as it is written, “Thou shalt not wear a garment of divers sorts, as of woollen and linen together. [12] Thou shalt make thee fringes upon the four quarters of thy vesture, wherewith thou coverest thyself. – (Deuteronomy 22:11)

WARNING:

AVOID WEARING STRANGE CLOTHING, as it is written, And it shall come to pass in the day of YHWH’s sacrifice, that I will punish the princes, and the king’s children, and all such as are clothed with strange apparel.- Zephaniah 1:8

Any clothing that wasn’t part of the Israelite Culture, would be considered “strange” or clothing belong to another nation or culture. The clothing below from different countries, don’t have fringes & blue ribbon. Many of them are probably made using mixed fabric. The style isn’t Hebrew either.

25 Dietary Guidelines of Lawful & Unlawful Food

Take care of Yourself – Keep Your Body a Set-apart Temple and eat only clean foods, avoid all unclean foods. Read the 25 Dietary Guidelines in the bible concerning what to eat and what not to eat.

1) EAT HERBS, SEEDS, FRUITS & VEGETABLES FOR FOOD as it is written, “And Elohim said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.” – (Genesis 1:29) Reason for eating herbs, seeds, fruits & vegetables for food, as it is written, “to you it shall be for meat.” – (Genesis 1:29)

2) PERMITTED ANIMALS IN THE WATER TO EAT, MUST HAVE FINS & SCALES, as it is written, “These ye shall eat of all that are in the waters: all that have fins and scales shall ye eat:” – (Deuteronomy 14:9) As it is also written,“These shall ye eat of all that are in the waters: whatsoever hath fins and scales in the waters, in the seas, and in the rivers, them shall ye eat.” – (Leviticus 11:9)
3) PERMITTED FLYING CREEPING THING FOR FOOD,

as it is written, “Yet these may ye eat of every flying creeping thing that goeth upon all four, which have legs above their feet, to leap withal upon the earth; Even these of them ye may eat; the locust after his kind, and the bald locust after his kind, and the beetle after his kind, and the grasshopper after his kind.” – (Leviticus 11:21-22)
4) PERMITTED BIRDS FOR FOOD,

as it is written, “Of all clean birds ye shall eat.” – (Deuteronomy 14:11)

5) PERMITTED TO TAKE YOUNG ONES or EGGS, BUT SET THE MOTHER BIRD FREE as it is written, “if a bird’s nest chance to be before thee in the way in any tree, or on the ground, whether they be young ones, or eggs, and the dam sitting upon the young, or upon the eggs, thou shalt not take the dam with the young: But thou shalt in any wise let the dam go, and take the young to thee; that it may be well with thee, and that thou mayest prolong thy days”.- (Deuteronomy 22:6-7)

Reason for setting the mother bird free when taking the nest or the young, as it is written, “it may be well with thee, and that thou mayest prolong thy days”.- (Deuteronomy 22:7)

6) PERMITTED BEASTS OF THE FIELD FOR FOOD,

as it is written, “Whatsoever parteth the hoof, and is clovenfooted, and cheweth the cud, among the beasts, that shall ye eat.” – (Leviticus 11:3)

7) EAT UNLEAVEN BREAD FOR SEVEN DAYS DURING THE FEAST OF UNLEAVEN BREAD,

as it is written, “Seven days thou shalt eat unleavened bread, and in the seventh day shall be a feast to YHWH. Unleavened bread shall be eaten seven days; – (Exodus 13:6-7)

What is Forbiden Food by Yah?

8) DO NOT EAT BLOOD, POUR IT UPON THE EARTH AS WATER,

as it is written, “ Only be sure that thou eat not the blood: for the blood is the life; and thou mayest not eat the life with the flesh. Thou shalt not eat it; thou shalt pour it upon the earth as water. Thou shalt not eat it; that it may go well with thee, and with thy children after thee, when thou shalt do that which is right in the sight of YHWH.”- (Deuteronomy 12:23-25)

The Reason for not eating blood, as it is written, “And whatsoever man there be of the house of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn among you, that eateth any manner of blood; I will even set my face against that soul that eateth blood, and will cut him off from among his people. For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul. Therefore I said unto the children of Israel, No soul of you shall eat blood, neither shall any stranger that sojourneth among you eat blood. And whatsoever man there be of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn among you, which hunteth and catcheth any beast or fowl that may be eaten; he shall even pour out the blood thereof, and cover it with dust. For it is the life of all flesh; the blood of it is for the life thereof: therefore I said unto the children of Israel, Ye shall eat the blood of no manner of flesh: for the life of all flesh is the blood thereof: whosoever eateth it shall be cut off. – (Leviticus 17:10-14)

Judgment for eating blood, as it is written, “Moreover ye shall eat no manner of blood, whether it be of fowl or of beast, in any of your dwellings. Whatsoever soul it be that eateth any manner of blood, even that soul shall be cut off from his people.” – (Leviticus 7:26-27)

9) DO NOT EAT CERTAIN BIRDS FOR FOOD, as it is written,“But these are they of which ye shall not eat: the eagle, and the ossifrage, and the ospray, And the glede, and the kite, and the vulture after his kind, And every raven after his kind. And the owl, and the night hawk, and the cuckow, and the hawk after his kind, The little owl, and the great owl, and the swan, And the pelican, and the gier eagle, and the cormorant, And the stork, and the heron after her kind, and the lapwing, and the bat. And every creeping thing that flieth is unclean unto you: they shall not be eaten. But of all clean fowls ye may eat.” – (Deuteronomy 14:11-19)

Do not eat the fat from animal flesh
10) DO NOT EAT THE FAT OF ANY ANIMALS,

as written, “Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, Ye shall eat no manner of fat, of ox, or of sheep, or of goat. And the fat of the beast that dieth of itself, and the fat of that which is torn with beasts, may be used in any other use: but ye shall in no wise eat of it. – (Leviticus 7:23-25) Reason you can not eat fat, as it is written, “fat offered to Yah for sacrifice – scripture reference needed Judgment for eating fat, as it is written, “For whosoever eateth the fat of the beast, of which men offer an offering made by fire unto YHWH, even the soul that eateth it shall be cut off from his people.” – (Leviticus 7:25)

11) DO NOT EAT ANY ANIMAL THAT DIES OF IT’S SELF,

as it is written, “Ye shall not eat of anything that dieth of itself: thou shalt give it unto the stranger that is in thy gates, that he may eat it; or thou mayest sell it unto an alien:” – (Deuteronomy 14:21)

Reason for not eating an animal that dies of itself, as it is written, “for thou art an set-apart people unto YHWH thy Elohim.” – (Deuteronomy 14:21)

12) DO NOT EAT ANY ANIMAL KILLED BY ANOTHER ANIMAL,

as it is written, “neither shall ye eat any flesh that is torn of beasts in the field; ye shall cast it to the dogs.” – (Exodus 22:31)

Reason for not eating an animal killed by another animal, as it is written, “And ye shall be set-apart men unto me:” – (Exodus 22:31)

13) DO NOT EAT AN OX THAT KILLS A MAN OR WOMAN,

as it is written, “If an ox gore a man or a woman, that they die: then the ox shall be surely stoned, and his flesh shall not be eaten; but the owner of the ox shall be quit.” – (Exodus 21:28)

14) DO NOT BOIL or BAKE A KID WHEN ITS NOT WEANED (in milk),

as it is written, “Thou shalt not seethe a kid in his mother’s milk.” – (Deuteronomy 14:21)

15) DO NOT EAT ANIMALS IN THE WATER THAT DON’T HAVE FINS & SCALES,

as it is written, “And whatsoever hath not fins and scales ye may not eat; it is unclean unto you.” – (Deuteronomy 14:10)
As it is also written, “And all that have not fins and scales in the seas, and in the rivers, of all that move in the waters, and of any living thing which is in the waters, they shall be an abomination unto you: They shall be even an abomination unto you; ye shall not eat of their flesh, but ye shall have their carcases in abomination. Whatsoever hath no fins nor scales in the waters, that shall be an abomination unto you.” – “Leviticus 11:10-12”

Reason for not eating animals in the water without fins & scales, as it is written, “it is unclean unto you.” – (Deuteronomy 14:10)

16) DO NOT EAT UNCLEAN BEASTS OF THE FIELD FOR FOOD,

as it is written, “Nevertheless these shall ye not eat of them that chew the cud, or of them that divide the hoof: as the camel, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he is unclean unto you. And the coney, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he is unclean unto you. And the hare, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he is unclean unto you. And the swine, though he divide the hoof, and be clovenfooted, yet he cheweth not the cud; he is unclean to you” – (Leviticus 1:4-7)
Reason for not eating unclean beast of the field for food, as it is written, “he is unclean to you” – (Leviticus 11:7)

17) DO NOT EAT or TOUCH UNCLEAN DEAD ANIMALS,

as it is written, “Of their flesh shall ye not eat, and their carcase shall ye not touch; they are unclean to you.” – (Leviticus 11:4-8) As it is also written, “Nevertheless these ye shall not eat of them that chew the cud, or of them that divide the cloven hoof; as the camel, and the hare, and the coney: for they chew the cud, but divide not the hoof; therefore they are unclean unto you. And the swine, because it divideth the hoof, yet cheweth not the cud, it is unclean unto you: ye shall not eat of their flesh, nor touch their dead carcase.” – (Deuteronomy 14:7-8)

Reason for not eating or touching unclean dead animals, as it is written, “they are unclean to you.” – (Leviticus 11:8)

this is what people from other countries call “food”, but it is not permitted to eat unclean insects or worms

18) ALL FLYING CREEPING THINGS ARE NOT PERMITTED FOR FOOD, BESIDES THE EXCEPTION,

as it is written, “But all other flying creeping things, which have four feet, shall be an abomination unto you.” – (Leviticus 11:23)

19) ALL CREEPING THINGS, SUCH AS WORMS or INSECTS, SHALL NOT BE EATEN,

as it is written, “And every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth shall be an abomination; it shall not be eaten. Whatsoever goeth upon the belly, and whatsoever goeth upon all four, or whatsoever hath more feet among all creeping things that creep upon the earth, them ye shall not eat; for they are an abomination. Ye shall not make yourselves abominable with any creeping thing that creepeth, neither shall ye make yourselves unclean with them, that ye should be defiled thereby.” – (Leviticus 11:41-43)

Reason for not eating all creeping things, such as worms & insects, as it is written, “For I am YHWH your Elohim: ye shall therefore sanctify yourselves, and ye shall be set-apart; for I am set-apart: neither shall ye defile yourselves with any manner of creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. For I am YHWH that bringeth you up out of the land of Egypt, to be your Elohim: ye shall therefore be set-apart, for I am set-apart.” – (Leviticus 11:44-45)

this is an Alligator someone is trying to make a meal out of, he is a “creeping thing”. This is what the scriptures calls, any “other creeping”. Basically, if Yah didn’t say you can it an animal don’t!
20) DO NOT EAT REPTILES FOR FOOD, as it is written, “neither shall ye defile yourselves with any manner of creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.” – (Leviticus 11:44)

21) WHEN YOU REAP THE FIRST FRUIT OF THE HARVEST, DO NOT EAT BREAD or PARCHED CORRN, or GREEN EARS, until YOU MAKE AN OFFERING UNTO YHWH,

as it is written, “Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye be come into the land which I give unto you, and shall reap the harvest thereof, then ye shall bring a sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest unto the priest: And he shall wave the sheaf before YHWH, to be accepted for you: on the morrow after the Sabbath the priest shall wave it. And ye shall eat neither bread, nor parched corn, nor green ears, until the selfsame day that ye have brought an offering unto your Elohim: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.” –Leviticus 23:10-11,14

22) DO NOT EAT OF YOUNG FRUIT TREES FOR THE FIRST THREE YEARS OF GROWTH, as it is written, “19:23 And when ye shall come into the land, and shall have planted all manner of trees for food, then ye shall count the fruit thereof as uncircumcised: three years shall it be as uncircumcised unto you: it shall not be eaten of. But in the fourth year all the fruit thereof shall be set-apart to praise YHWH withal. 5 And in the fifth year shall ye eat of the fruit thereof, – Leviticus 19:23-25

REASON FOR NOT EATING FRUIT OF THE TREES FOR THE FIRST THREE YEARS OF GROWTH,as it is written, “that it may yield unto you the increase thereof: I am YHWH your Elohim.” – Leviticus 19:23-25

23) DO NOT EAT or DRINK ANYTHING ON THE DAY OF ATONEMENT,

as it is written, “Also on the tenth day of this seventh month there shall be a day of atonement: it shall be an set-apart convocation unto you; and ye shall afflict your souls,” – (Leviticus 23:27)

Reason for not eating on the day of atonement, as it is written, “for it is a day of atonement, to make an atonement for you before YHWH your Elohim. – (Leviticus 23:28) Judgment for eating on the day of Atonement, as it is written, “For whatsoever soul it be that shall not be afflicted in that same day, he shall be cut off from among his people.” – (Leviticus 23:29)

Do not eat anything with Leaven during the Feast of Unleaven Bread. Remove all leaven out of your house before the feast day of unleaven bread. This means no baking soda, or baking powder. Read your labels, many crackers, cereal, cookies, cakes & breads of course, have “leaven, baking soda or baking powder in them.

24) DO NOT EAT ANYTHING WITH LEAVEN DURING THE FEAST OF UNLEAVENED BREAD,

as it is written, “and there shall no leavened bread be seen with thee, neither shall there be leaven seen with thee in all thy quarters. – (Exodus 13:7) Reason for not eating leaven during the feast of unleavened bread, as it is written, “And thou shalt shew thy son in that day, saying, This is done because of that which YHWH did unto me when I came forth out of Egypt. And it shall be for a sign unto thee upon thine hand, and for a memorial between thine eyes, that YHWH‘s law may be in thy mouth: for with a strong hand hath YHWH brought thee out of Egypt.” – (Exodus 13:8-9)

Passover meal never includes Bread with leaven in them. Only Unleaven Bread can be eating.
25) DO NOT EAT LEAVEN BREAD WITH THE PASSOVER,

as it is written, “Thou shalt eat no leavened bread with it; seven days shalt thou eat unleavened bread therewith, even the bread of affliction; for thou camest forth out of the land of Egypt in haste: that thou mayest remember the day when thou camest forth out of the land of Egypt all the days of thy life.” – (Deuteronomy16:3)
